Somali leaders sign Aden declaration for national reconciliation

SANA'A, January 5, (Saba)- Under sponsorship of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Somali President Abdullah Yousif Ahmed and Somali
Parliament speakerSharaif Hassan Al-Sheikh signed in Aden declaration for the Somali thenational reconciliation.
The declaration includes five articles which confirm to end a rift and let beyond be beyond. The two Somali leaders agreed on importance
of activecoordination, and respecting the principles of the federal charter of Somalia.
The declaration also stated that the Somalia's 275-member transitional parliament should meet within a month in the Somali territories. The declaration called international community and all world countries to offer all formsof support for holding the first meeting of the Somali parliament in theSomali territories.
The two Somali leaders asked from all Somali people to put armies aside in order to make an end for the civil war and use peaceful ways
for settlingtheir disputes.
The declaration expressed thank you and appreciation for president Saleh for his efforts in lessening disputes between the two Somali leaders.

During his meeting with Somali leaders, President Saleh congratulated them for reaching this agreement.
"It is time to rebuild new democratic Somalia with the participation of all political parties of Somalia," Saleh said. He also stressed on
theimportance of moving all state institutions of Somalia into Mogadishu. He said that the international community would help Somalia, if its leadershipis unified.
