PM: Democracy emerges at school

SANA'A, Sept. 25 (Saba)- Democracy is a part of the educational process starts at home passing through school and should be correctly applied in public life, Prime Minister Abdul-Qader Ba-Jammal stated.
At his participation in the second democratic lesson in both Arawa School for Girls and Saif School for Boys in Sana'a, Ba-Jammal said "democracy and your interaction with it contribute to the success of efforts exerted in crystallizing the sound values of democracy among students, in particular, and the whole public, in general".

You represent the modern Yemeni community that should apply real democracy, he said. He said that through democracy people could elect whoever they wanted to represent them in the Parliament.

"The practice of democracy starts with electing a good student to lead his/her class mates. What is necessary here is to seriously practice democracy in our working life, he concluded.
