SANA'A, March 14 (Saba) - A French envoy expressed on Wednesday his government's absolute support and solidarity with Yemen.

During his meeting with President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Director of North Africa and the Middle East in the French Foreign Ministry Patrice Paoli asserted that French's support for the power transition in Yemen.

He said that the visit's goal is to voice the French government's support for the political settlement in Yemen, valuing President Hadi's exceptional efforts - backed by the entire international community - to tackle the crisis and its aftermaths.

The President acquainted Paoli with the practical steps that have been carried out up to now according to the Gulf initiative and the UN resolution 2014.

Hadi indicated to the various actions to be implemented in the second stage of the transitional period, topped by the national comprehensive dialogue, saying that many obstacles in the economic and security areas have been overcome in order to restore the country's stability.
