SANA'A, Jan. 18 (Saba) - Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa met here on Wednesday with a delegation of Indonesia's Medco Energi International headed by president director Lukman Mahfoedz.
In the presence of the Oil and Minerals Minister Hisham Sharaf, the delegation acquainted the Prime Minister with company's activities in Yemen, and its vision for improving its investment in country.
Basindwa and Mahfoedz discussed the company's activity in its concession area and its future development plan, as well as bilateral investment relations between Yemen and Indonesia.
The Premier accentuated the government's keenness on promoting investments in all areas and facilitating the investment companies' activities to avail from the advantages and opportunities in the country's promising sectors.
"The door is open to all local, regional and international investments in Yemen in all fields and the government will provide all required care for them." he said.
The government is keen on increasing the cooperation opportunities with Indonesia, Basindwa said, adding that Indonesian investments are welcomed to Yemen and would enjoy all the available merits.
