Coalition slips away from Sweden peace talks to escalation: Army Spokesman
[09/ديسمبر/2018] SANAA, Dec. 9 (Saba) – Army’s spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said on Sunday in a statement that the Saudi-led aggression coalition moved towards military escalation away from the UN peace consultations in Sweden.
15 airstrikes and dozens of ground attacks on Yemeni territories were launched over the past 12 hours by the aggression coalition, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said, adding that the attacks concentrated on Saada, Bayda, Hodeidah, and Sanaa province.
He point out that At least 455 of the militiamen have been killed and wounded during the past six days when the army foiled their 13 infiltration towards several sites of the army,” he said.
“The coalition’s attacks came in the same time when the UN-sponsored peace talks in Sweden is holding and that obstructs the peace efforts,” Sarie added.
The spokesman affirmed that the army foiled all the enemy's infiltration killing and injuring dozens of mercenaries.
Sarie affirmed also the army has the right to respond to any military escalation conducted by the coalition.
