Army attacks sites of Saudi troops, mercenaries over Saturday
SANA’A, Feb. 25 (Saba) – The army and popular forces launched attacks against locations of Saudi troops and their mercenaries in several fronts overnight, a military official told Saba on Sunday.
In Jizan region, the army’s artillery shelled Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Malhama and Faridha and in Towal outlet.
The missile force fired a barrage of Katyusha rockets toward Saudi vehicles and troops in al-Mattan site, in addition to shooting dead a Saudi solider and destroying a 50mm machine in Khazzan hill of the same region.
In Asir region, the army and poplar forces carried out an attack on Um Riyah mountain, killing and wounding several of mercenaries, while the artillery bombarded Saudi enemy’s forces in Raqaba, Hanjar valley, and off Alib outlet.
In Najran region, two Saudi soldiers were gunned down in Dhaba’h site and Muthallath Ushah area.
In Taiz province, a number of the enemy’s mercenaries were killed and other injured in a missile attack on their gathering in the west coast front, while a military vehicle and a 14.5 mm machine gun were destroyed in an artillery shelling in east of Kahlid military base.
In Jawf province, Saudi-paid mercenaries’ gatherings were bombed with a barrage of Katyusha missiles.
In Hajjah province, the artillery of the army and popular forces shelled mercenaries’ groups and vehicles in north of Medi district.
